Attorney Morgan Gray

The remainder of his practice is dedicated to taking on the complex matters of injured seamen and other maritime personnel nationwide and overseas. Certified as a Proctor in Admiralty by the Maritime Law Association of the United States, he is highly regarded for his knowledge of maritime laws, including the Jones Act, the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act, the Non-appropriated Fund Instrumentalities Act, and the Defense Base Act, all of which were created to ensure that injured maritime personnel receive the benefits to which they are entitled in the event of a workplace injury.

Mr. Gray attended Suffolk University Law School, achieving dean's list honors and earning his law degree in 1991. Prior to founding his firm in 1996, he worked as an associate attorney for two Massachusetts firms and presided over evidentiary hearings for the Boston Retirement Board.

A frequent speaker on maritime law and workers' compensation topics at continuing legal education seminars, conventions and insurance seminars, Mr. Gray is a fellow of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation and was recently appointed to the House of Delegates of the Massachusetts Bar Association. In June 2014, he was recognized by the Workers' Injury Law & Advocacy Group as one of the nation's leading workers' compensation attorneys.
